    • Can buy big flags to little flags and flags of all kinds
    • To sell at our Tea Parties, we buy American and “Don’t Tread on Me” snake flags in bulk. They are the 12” x 18” size flags on a stick – cost is about $1 each when you buy in bulk.
    • We have also bought large “Come and Take It” cannon flag and “Don’t Tread on Me” snake flags from this website
  • Name tags

    • Cost is $8 to $9 each. They use strong magnets to attach the badge to a shirt.
  • Various small patriotic-type things

    • These would include small paper flags (postcard size), Uncle Sam hats, Uncle Sam door hanging with face cutout, red/white/blue fringe for signs, etc.

    • Will post photos this summer of things we have bought and use for our advertising and Tea Parties.
  • Collared-shirt embroidery

  • George Washington or Uncle Sam costume

    • George Washington costume (decent one) was $120. Uncle Sam costume was about $50.
    • Use in Tea Parties, Christmas Parade float, Longview Alley Fest art show, etc. Good way to get people to stop, talk, and have their picture taken with George or Uncle Sam.
  • Business cards

    • Inexpensive advertising of your group. Can buy blank (all white) card stock for 1000 business cards at Sam’s Club. Cost is about $7 for 1000 blanks. Buy the Royal Brights business cards box with the matte finish.
    • Can also buy colored background cards (American flag background) at local stationary supply stores. These are much more expensive.
    • Take sheet of 10 blanks per page, type up on your computer what you want to put on the card and then print them off like address labels. Easy to do.
  • Yard signs

    • Inexpensive way to advertise your group.
    • Talk to local sign companies. They can do anything you want.
    • Get 2 sided sign with a metal stake for each sign.
    • Buy in quantity of 100 or more for best deal. Expect to pay about $6 to $7 per sign.
    • Longview WTP sells the yard signs at cost at our monthly meeting, Tea Parties, and any other rallies we have.
  • Tea Party road signs

    • The Longview WTP group has made up bigger signs to place along the roads around town to advertise our Tea Parties.
    • Inexpensive way to advertise your Tea Party. Can be reused for each Tea Party. Needs two metal “T” posts per sign.
    • US flags on each sign were bought from FlagImporter.com and the red, white, & blue bunting along the bottom was bought from OrientalTrading.com.
  • Newspaper ad for Tea Party

    13 Tea Party Ad in Paper Color Scan Get Group Supplies

    • Our Longview WTP group has purchased an ad in the local Longview paper to advertise our Tea Party that Saturday.
    • Cost was approximately $700 for a ¼ page colored ad. Black and white ad or smaller sized ad would be less expensive.
    • Ad ran the Wednesday before the Saturday Tea Party.
    • At the last Tea Party, approximately ¼ of the people there found out about the Tea Party due to the ad in the paper. It is effective if your group can afford it.
