I WANT A DIVORCE

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, Marxists, Obama supporters, socialists, and all you Kool-aid drinkers:

 We have stuck together for over 230 years, but the actions of you liberals since the 2008 elections have made me realize that I want a divorce.  The actions of Congress passing Obamacare simply broke the back of my tolerance with you people.

 I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations.  However, this relationship is now dysfunctional and has run its course.  Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what’s right for America.  Therefore, let’s just end it on friendly terms.

RADICALS ARE US

The “WE THE PEOPLE” group here in Longview believes in a message of common sense, conservative, limited government that we present to our group members.  This message was on display on April 17 at the “Taxed Enough Already” Tea Party at the courthouse lawn.  Since the conservatives already have a “WE THE PEOPLE” group and a “Tea Party” group, it’s only fair that the liberals start something similar for their viewpoints on how the government should be run.

The Government Bailouts Must End

Last week Gallup reported that “Federal government debt” was the issue that most threatened the future well-being of the United States. Our nation’s record deficits are largely driven by the record spending increases of the last decade and the last year in particular. There is a way out of this deficit nightmare: stop spending. If the federal government managed to return to the per-household spending level of the Reagan administration, the budget would be balanced by 2012 without any tax hikes. Or just returning to the per-household spending levels that existed before the current recession would balance the budget by 2019. But first we must stop the bleeding: the government bailouts must end.
